One Fallout 4 Player Found The Game's Maximum Build Height
It's a lot higher than you might think.
In a world as expansive as Fallout 4’s, it’s tempting to test the limits. How far can you walk? How deep can you swim? How high can you build?
Finally, someone has attempted to answer the latter. Redditor /u/simonschreibt found that at a certain point, the game stops letting you go into Build Mode. (The message is written in German below.)
From the ground up, it doesn’t look that tall.
But once you get to the top, the view is actually breathtaking and, as /u/simonschreibt points out, it’s a sniper’s paradise.
Maximum build height may vary by location; this tower was built in Abernathy Farm but another redditor pointed out that Sanctuary Hills has a maximum build height of five stories. /u/simonschreibt suggested that the maximum limit may have to do with the location’s sea level. If anyone has tried to max out any other locations’ build heights, please let us know in the comments section.
