Pokemon Go Current Showcases Featuring Rockruff, Midday, and Dusk Form Lycanroc

Trainers, Pokemon Go introduced a new competitive element called PokeStop Showcases, where you can display your best Pokemon to compete with others. This exciting feature comes into play during in-game events, and for the upcoming showcase from January 7 to January 10, the focus is on Rockruff, Midday Form Lycanroc, and Dusk Form Lycanroc.

To participate in a Showcase, watch for PokeStops with a unique icon above them. This icon, initially green, signals that you can enter one of the featured Pokemon. After selecting Showcase at the PokeStop, you can choose your Rockruff, Midday Form Lycanroc, or Dusk Form Lycanroc, if you have one, for display. Once you’ve entered your Pokemon, the icon turns purple, indicating your active participation in the Showcase.

One important aspect to remember is that you must be physically near a PokeStop to enter your Pokemon into its Showcase.

The first PokeStop Showcases happened during the Pokemon Go 7th Anniversary Party, where trainers showcased their Squirtles. Now, with Rockruff and its evolutions in the limelight, players have a fresh opportunity to engage in this innovative and interactive feature.
