Pokémon GO Black Kyurem and White Kyurem Compensation, 250,000 Stardust and 250 Kyurem Candy Up for Grabs

Trainers, Pokémon GO recently had a bit of a mix-up with the accidental appearance of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, alongside a bug with Bewear’s Drain Punch move. After realizing the error, Niantic and Pokémon GO made the decision to ban Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Bewear from the Go Battle League. The reason for Bewear’s ban? Its Drain Punch move was causing it to defeat other Pokémon with just three moves, disrupting the balance of battles.

For a brief period, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem were present in the game, offering some trainers the lucky chance to encounter, battle, and even catch these rare Pokémon. Recognizing the impact of this incident, Niantic and Pokémon GO are now stepping up to offer compensation to affected players. They removed/exchanged Black Kyurem and White Kyurem with Kyurem from players’ accounts.

This compensation comes in the form of a Limited Research, easy to complete as it only requires trainers to claim the rewards. The rewards are 250 Kyurem Candy, 5 Star Pieces, 5 Lucky Eggs, and 250,000 Stardust.
